Circuit Board Awards is a new project from upcycling sensation, TechWears. Founded in 2014, TechWears began creating recycled circuit board award plaques in 2017. The offerings have continued to evolve and deserve a website of their own!

Based in Colorado Springs, TechWears continues to make and distribute a variety of jewelry, accessories, and collectable art all made out of recycled circuit boards.

This new site is dedicated to the vast amount of customizations and projects we are excited to collaborate and produce for your events, incentives, branding efforts and more! .

How much are your circuit board awards, nametags, and other items?

Please reach out for a quote. While some award items have standard pricing, most do not. Complexity, materials, and quantity ultimately sets the price. Give us a chance to bid your project and you'll find we are on point with value and price.

How does the ordering process work?

You fill out the inquiry form with as much information as you have.
We get right back to you with timeline and a quote.
Once the basic concept is agreed upon, design proofs are created.
You approve the proofs and pay the deposit.
We begin the transformation of recycled circuit boards into world class awards.
We ship your order on time with no drama. Safely packaged, and organized.
You have an amazing event and everyone asks, "where on Earth did you find those awards?"

Are they really recycled circuit boards?

Absolutely. We search the globe for the most beautiful recycled circuit boards we can find. Most often, we work with pre-consumer recycled material, which is why the boards are unpopulated and smooth.

Can you do high volume orders?

Yes! Well, it depends on what you consider to be high volume. But we are not shy about 50K+ keychains, hundreds of award plaques, dozens of trophies. It's always a good idea to reach out early!

Do you make the awards inhouse?

Of course. We currently do production work inside of Pikes Peak Makerspace in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO. We have access to lasers, CNC routers, powder coating, plus metal and wood working equipment!

How long does it take to get an order?

Ordering early is better for everyone. However, if you need something "yesterday," we will do our best to help. We've been known to drop everything to get something out same day, and we can also ship overnight/ 2 day etc.

Can you make a prototype?

We will do whatever it takes to properly communicate the design concept. This can be photographs of circuit boards, pencil drawings, and previous projects, or a physical mockup if necessary. Whatever it takes to make sure we are on the same page!

Can you drop ship awards to multiple addresses?

Yes, we have extensive experience shipping a batch of awards to various addresses across the globe. Let us help you show your remote workforce that you appreciate them.

Can you make something with circuit boards I provide?

Absolutely! If you have some circuit boards that are sentimental for any reason, let us know and we can help transform it into a useful object you'll be proud to keep nearby.

Can I donate some circuit boards to you?

Thank you for offering! The answer is, maybe. Please let us know what you have, and if we can't use it we can help you get it properly recycled.

What are your payment terms?

Once the design and proofs are approved, a 50% deposit is required to begin production on your project. Once an established client, we can offer Net30 terms if requested. Ask if your project qualifies for a 10% discount for payment in full upfront!

Is this legit? How can I trust you?

Yes, this is a new website! But we have been doing business on the internet for a long time. We've only failed on a project once while attempting to make "the stanley cup of circuit board trophies." However, we shipped a beautiful award in its place in time for the event! With more lead time, we could have done it! Anyway, don't take our word for it. Check out our reviews on Etsy!

How are the awards packaged?

We make sure that unboxing your awards will be easy to keep organized with labels and grouping. Plaques and desk awards all come inside of their own custom sized box made with 100% recycled content.

What color are the circuit boards?

Green is the industry standard color of circuit boards, and therefore green will always be the most economical choice for your recycled circuit board award project. Ask about other colors if you are interested and we will see what we can find!

Can you make anything out of recycled circuit boards?

We like to think so! There's only one way to find out. If you can see it in your mind, we can probably make it happen. So go ahead and contact us today!
